Borussia Dortmund-thuisshirt - 1996-97
Celebrate a golden era in Borussia Dortmund’s history with the iconic Borussia Dortmund Home Shirt 1996-1997. This eye-catching design from Nike is one of the most memorable football shirts of the 1990s—instantly recognisable thanks to its bold neon yellow base, contrasting black panels, and signature star detailing on the sleeves.
Worn during a historic season, this shirt became legendary when BVB were crowned UEFA Champions League winners for the first time in club history. The 1996-97 campaign saw Dortmund dominate Europe and lift the trophy in Munich after defeating Juventus 3-1 in the final.
This shirt was proudly worn by legends including:
• #5 Jürgen Kohler – Rock-solid in defence, anchoring Dortmund’s backline throughout the European campaign.
• #6 Paul Lambert – The Scottish midfielder who famously man-marked Zidane out of the final.
• #10 Andreas Möller – The creative spark and driving force in midfield.
• #9 Karl-Heinz Riedle – Scored two vital goals in the final, writing his name in BVB history.
With the classic s.Oliver sponsor and Nike’s old-school design, this shirt is perfect for collectors, retro football lovers, and die-hard Dortmund fans. Whether you’re reliving the glory days or simply love the 90s aesthetic, the Borussia Dortmund 1996-97 home shirt is an absolute must-have.
